CATHOLIC WAR VETERANS #1306

The Columbia Catholic War Veterans Post 1306 was established April 9, 1948 by 14 returning World War II Veterans.  The first meetings of the organization were held in the private homes of several charter members. This family-like atmosphere help to develop a spirit of comradely, which has endured through those many years.  In 1948 the Post moved into their 1st official home and shortly thereafter established their permanent residence at 631 Locust St. Columbia, where they remain today.
